Welcome to the new ACCESS site!

Welcome to the refreshed Digital Accessibility at the Commonwealth site. We rebuilt this space to make accessibility guidance easier to find, easier to use, and easier to come back to when you are in the middle of real work.

The new site brings together the resources teams ask for most often: practical training, testing checklists, office hours, policy guidance, and updates from the ACCESS team. Whether you are writing content, creating documents, reviewing a vendor product, building a digital service, or learning where to begin, the goal is the same: help you find the next useful step without digging through scattered links.

You will find:

• Training pages organized by topic, including fundamentals like color, alt text, structure, plain language, video, social media, and documents
• Guided training views that let you move through content one section at a time
• Testing checklists for common tools and workflows, with more to come
• A simpler path to office hours and live training opportunities
• News posts for policy updates, site changes, new resources, and reminders
• A searchable site structure so you can get back to what you need quickly

This site will keep growing. Moving forward, we will use this space to share new training materials, publish checklist updates, highlight common accessibility issues, and explain changes to digital accessibility requirements in plain language.

You can also expect more practical examples over time: templates, walkthroughs, recommended testing steps, and guidance for common questions we hear from state agencies, municipalities, schools, vendors, and digital service teams.
